ROBERT LEE DWYER SR.

Robert Lee Dwyer Sr., 75, husband of Sarah Brown Dwyer and son of the late Joseph Dwyer Sr. and Queen Esther Logan Dwyer, was born on May 14, 1949, in Sumter. He departed this life on Friday, Aug. 2, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter.

Mr. Dwyer will be placed in the church for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024, at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, with Pastor Ronnie Smiling Sr., officiating.

Interment will follow in Beulah AME Church Cemetery, Sumter.

Family will receive friends at 245 W. Williams St., Sumter, daily from 5 to 8 p.m.

Job’s Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., is in charge of arrangements.
