ROGER CONYERS

Roger Conyers, 77, widower of Paulette Nelson Conyers and son of the late Silas Conyers and Carrie Lena Johnson Conyers, was born on July 23, 1947, in Sumter County. He departed this life on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter.

Public viewing will be held on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, 2024, at New Hope UME Church, 19022 Panola Road, Pinewood, with the Rev. Lawrence Myers, officiating, and the Rev. Lavaron Johnson, eulogist.

Interment will follow in New Hope Community Cemetery, Pinewood.

Family will receive friends at the home, 4441 Corbett Road, Pinewood, daily from 4 to 8 p.m.
