ALBERT E. BALLENTINE

Albert E. Ballentine, 80, died Friday, July 26, 2024, at Prisma Health Richland in Columbia.

Born Dec. 4, 1943, in Middletown Springs, Vermont, he was a son of the late Edward Ebenezer Ballentine and Ida May Barkley Yarter. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He was employed by GA Foods.

Survivors include a daughter, Tiffanie Richards of New York; and grandchildren, Brayden Bosch, Blayne Turner and Reed Richards, all of New York, and Cyria Turner of North Carolina; and a great-grandson, Calvin King of North Carolina.

Services were private.

Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
