Sally Smith Sumter, 80, was born on March 15, 1943, in Sumter, a daughter of the late John Henry Smith and Allie Dukes Smith. She departed this life on Monday, Jan. 1, 2024, at her residence.

Public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Job's Mortuary.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, 155 Wall St., Sumter, SC 29150 with Pastor Prescott Butler officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Community Cemetery, Sumter, SC 29150.

The family will receive friends at the home, 80 Dollard Drive, Sumter, SC 29150.
