Richard Allen Johnson Jr., 85, son of the late Richard Allen Johnson Sr. and Myrtle Fleming Johnson, was born on April 30, 1939, in Sumter. He departed this life on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia.
Memorial services will be held at noon, Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, with the Rev. Josh Dupree officiating and the Rev. Jackie Jackson, eulogist.
