Sumter Police Department Lt. Gayle sworn in as president of law officers association

Lt. Tyshica Gayle, Sumter Police Department recruitment officer, was sworn in last week as the 62nd president to lead the Palmetto State Law Enforcement Officers Association. Gayle and her cabinet - which included Sumter PD's Detective Willie McFadden, Sgt. Tabatha Adams and Lt. Cerdetrica Furman - were sworn in by Assistant Chief Jeffery Jackson, a past president of the statewide organization.
