ROBERT LEE KNIGHT

Robert Lee Knight, 70, son of the late Joseph Lee Knight and Gracie Goodman Knight, was born on Nov. 24, 1953, in Gates County, North Carolina. He departed his life Sunday, July 7, 2024, at his residence.  Robert was enlisted into the United States Air Force for 24 years and 16 days.  He worked as an Aircrafts Maintenance Craftsman while in the military.  He owned a 1977 Roadrunner which he cherished and kept in impeccable condition.  Robert leaves to cherish his memory, his former spouse, Cleo R. Knight of Sumter; two sons, Gregory Knight of Sumter and Michael Knight of Charlotte, North Carolina; one daughter, Jalicia Knight of Columbia; two grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers. 
He will greatly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Public viewing will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2024, from 2-6 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary.
