MARY BETH FAIROW

Mary Beth Fairow, 82, died on Monday, June 10, 2024, at Harmony Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Xenia, Ohio. Born Nov. 21, 1941, in Sumter, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Ray Buckner and Mary Ray Buckner. She was a member of Springbank Baptist Church and retired from Kroger.

Survivors include her brother Jack Bucker (Jackie) of Dalzell, South Carolina; two sisters, Sylvia Atchley of Sumter and Rosie Sauerhafer (Ross) of Zolfo Springs, Florida; daughters Troy Oliver (Mitch) of Enon, Ohio, and Trina Wanchick (Mike) of Buford, Georgia; grandchildren Holly Barton (Dustin), Leslie Sommer (Roland) and Hazel Wanchick; great-grandchildren Amber Barton, Heidi Sommer, Oliver Sommer and Elaine Barton; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters Joanne Buckner and Florence Smith and her brother Gary Buckner.

The family will receive friends July 12 and noon with funeral services following at 1 p.m. at Springbank Baptist Church, Sumter. Pallbearers will be Mitch Oliver, Mike Wanchick, Ross Sauerhafer, Jeremiah Sauerhafer, Greg Ray and Steven Walker. Memorials may be made to Springbank Baptist Church or Suncrest Hospice of Cincinnati.
