Sumter Police Department identified a third and fourth suspect in the killing of 15-year-old Derrick Wilson.

Warrants were issued this week for Cedric Wright, 20, and Keonte Jackson, 21, both of Sumter, based on information gathered in the ongoing investigation, said Tonyia McGirt, public information officer for the police department.

Jackson was taken into custody without incident Wednesday and is being held at Sumter County Sheriff's Office Detention Center.  A search is ongoing for Wright, and a reward of $5,000 is available for information leading to an arrest.

Wlson’s body was found outside in the Hoyt and Nelson streets area of Sumter, a day after his family reported him missing and two days before what would have been his 16th birthday. He had been shot, according to McGirt.

Two suspects, Jaylen Hammett, 17,  and Ja’Hugh Martin, 20, both of Manning, were taken into custody in July. Hammett was charged with accessory before the fact of murder and Martin was charged with murder, according to McGirt.

The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges and arrests are possible.
