DEACON WILLIE JAMES MCCRAY SR.

Deacon Willie James McCray Sr., 71, husband of Stacey English McCray and son of the late Deacon Richard Allen McCray Jr., and Deaconess Ida Mae Tisdale McCray, was born on June 23, 1953, in Clarendon County. He departed this life on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2024, at McLeod Health Clarendon Hospital in Manning.

Public viewing will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary Inc.

Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday, Aug. 8, 2024, at Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church, 10331 Plowden Mill Road, Alcolu, with Pastor Rosa W. Fulton, presiding, and Rev. Cedric Anderson, eulogist.

Interment will follow in Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Alcolu.

Family will receive friends at the home, 5895 Brogdon Road, Alcolu, daily from 1 to 8 p.m.
