CLARA WHEELER-BROWN

Clara Wheeler-Brown, 62, wife of Deon Brown and daughter of the late Willie Wheeler Jr. and Essie Lee Pringle Wheeler, was born on March 5, 1962, in Sumter County. She departed this life on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2024, at her residence.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, Sept. 6, 2024, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary Inc.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024, at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, with Bishop Harry Clark, officiating, and Pastor Louette Cabbagestalk, eulogist.

Interment will follow in Mayesville Community Cemetery, Mayesville.

Family will receive friends at the home, 32 S. Washington St., Sumter, daily from 5 to 9 p.m.

Job’s Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., is in charge of arrangements.
