CHARLES SAMUEL RAGIN

Funeral services for Charles Samuel Ragin will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Evergreen Memorial Park, 802 N. Guignard Drive, Sumter, SC 29150.

A public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at the mortuary.

He was born on June 3, 1941, in Sumter, to the late Millard Stukes and Lucille Doughty Ragin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Christopher Ragin and Benard Ragin; and a granddaughter, Kishana Mitchell.

He departed this life on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021, in Columbia.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his wife, Ellaree Dinkins Ragin; two sons, Christopher Dinkins and Eric (Kisha) Dinkins; three daughters, Lolita Ragin, Monya Ragin and Agelia Dinkins; nine grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a brother, Robert (Jean) Ragin; a sister, Helen (John) Price; and a host of other relatives and friends.
