4 vaccine clinics to be held in Sumter, Clarendon counties

South Carolina Department of Education will host four free COVID-19 vaccine clinics in Sumter and Clarendon counties on Feb. 25, 26 and 27.

Clinics will be held on Friday at Crosswell Elementary School, 310 Crosswell Drive, Sumter, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at West Lee Elementary School, 55 W. Lee School Road, Rembert.

On Saturday, a vaccination clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Manning High School, 2155 Paxville Highway, Manning. On Sunday, another clinic will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at Summerton Town Hall, 10 Main St., Summerton.

Attendees 5 years and older will be able to receive the Pfizer vaccine. Adults 18 years and older will be able to receive the Moderna vaccine or the one-shot Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) vaccine.
