SLED investigates shooting that left 1 dead in Clarendon County

Clarendon County Coroner Jacqueline Blackwell released the name of the victim in a fatal shooting on June 13.

Homero Zunun Gonzales, 56, of Manning was pronounced dead as a result of a shooting during the weekend, Blackwell said. 

An investigation is ongoing by Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office and SLED. 

An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
