JAMES ROCK

James Rock, son of the late Maxwell Rock and Loatelia Dwyer Rock, was born on Jan. 3, 1947, in Sumter. He departed this earthly life on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2026. He was educated in the public schools of Sumter County.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his children, siblings, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at noon Friday, Oct. 30, 2026, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church, 1275 Oswego Highway, Sumter, with the Rev. Daniel Bennett, officiating.

Internment will follow in the churchyard cemetery.
