DOROTHY LEE PERKINS

Dorothy Lee Perkins, age 82, widow of Horace V. Perkins, died on Monday, May 7, 2018, at Palmetto Health Tuomey.

Born in South Dakota, she was a daughter of the late Elston and Signe Shamburger. Dorothy loved her family and was mom and grandma to everyone she met. To know her was to love her. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Dorothy is survived by one son, Rickey Lee Perkins and wife, Meg Robinson, of Columbia; one daughter, Sharen Denise Perkins of Sumter; one grandson, Bradley Clark Baker of Sumter; and one sister, Linda Shamburger of Edmundton, Canada.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen "Bibbi" Baker; and a brother, Rodney Shamburger.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel.
