23rd-Annual Fall Field Day set for Oct. 8 in Dalzell

The South Carolina Green Industry Association will hold its 23rd-Annual Fall Field Day on Thursday, Oct. 8, at Modern Turf, 5740 Peach Orchard Road in Dalzell. Educational presentations, hands-on courses, equipment demonstrations, networking with exhibitors and a catered lunch will be offered. Attendees can also earn South Carolina Pesticide and ISA Arborist credits.

Fall Field Day begins at 8:30 a.m. for registration with classes, and exhibitor visits end at 3 p.m. More than 35 exhibitors will showcase their products and services throughout the event. Presentations include: Rooted for Success - Sod Harvesting, Installation, and Turf Health in South Carolina presented by Modern Turf and Signature Green; Proper Tree Planting Techniques presented by DabneyCollins; Name That Plant - Field Identification for Landscape Crews presented by Moore Farms Botanical Garden; Mowing Patterns and their Effects presented by Power Equipment Distributors; and Sprayer Calibration and Pesticide Safety presented by Clemson University Extension.
