Join Sumter Museum in welcoming three authors who will speak about their new books on Thursday, July 18, during a lunch event.

Colleen Coble, Rick Acker and Denise Hunter will visit the museum as part of their Booked for the Summer Tour on July 18 at 11:30 a.m. Lunch is included, and guests will be able to buy books to be signed at the lunch. The cost is $10 for museum members and $15 for nonmembers.

According to a flyer for the event, Hunter is an international bestselling author of 45 novels, and three of her works have been adapted as Hallmark movies. She has also been on "700 Club" and has been featured in Southern Living and Woman's World.

Coble has millions of copies of her novels in print and has been the winner or a finalist for many awards, including Best Books of Indiana, the ACFW Carol Award, Romance Writers of America RITA, the Holt Medallion, the Daphne du Maurier, National Readers' Choice and Bestsellers List. Her novels have been bestsellers in USA Today and Publishers Weekly.

Acker has written eight suspense novels, including a No. 1 Kindle bestseller, When the Devil Whistles. He writes on his way to and from his job as supervising deputy attorney general in the California Department of Justice and also is a contributing author on two legal treatises published by the American Bar Association.
