Talk, luncheon Thursday at Sumter museum with bestselling author Beatriz Williams

Come talk about literature over lunch at Sumter Museum at 122 N. Washington St. this Thursday, July 18, at noon. Beatriz Williams, the author of several New York Times, USA Today and international bestsellers such as "Our Woman in Moscow," "The Summer Wives," "Her Last Flight," "The Golden Hour," "The Secret Life of Violet Grant" and "A Hundred Summers" will be presenting on her latest romance novel, "Husbands and Lovers."

The Seattle native is a Stanford University graduate who worked in communications and corporate strategy before her first book was published in 2012. Since then, her stories have received several awards and been translated into more than a dozen languages. Those in attendance will not only have the chance to hear from the award-winning author about her new book, but they will also receive their own hardcover copy of the novel they may get signed at the event.
