VERMELL BROWN LEVAN

Vermell Brown Levan, 92, widow of William Levan and daughter of the late Rev. Louis Brown and Rachel Brown, was born on June 17, 1932, in Sumter. She departed this life on Friday, July 19, 2024, at her residence.

Public viewing will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary Inc.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Berea Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 675 S. Lafayette Drive, Sumter, with Elder Dr. Holness Samuels, officiating.

Interment will follow at Walker Cemetery, Sumter.

Family will receive at the home, 420 Council St., Sumter.

Job’s Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., is in charge of arrangements.
