Javon Antairio Steplight, 34, son of James Ernest Steplight and Minnie Gregg, was born on July 20, 1989 in Sumter. He departed this life on Thursday, July 18, 2024, in Silverdale, Washington.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Grace Cathedral Ministries, 60 Oswego Hwy., Sumter, with Pastor Marlin Clemons, presiding, and the Rev. Abraham Temony Jr., eulogist.

Interment will follow at Beulah AME Church Cemetery, Sumter.

Family will receive friends at 1290 Kings Pointe Drive, Sumter, daily from 1 to 9 p.m.
