SCDOT to hold drop-in public information meeting in Sumter County

COLUMBIA — SCDOT will hold a drop-in public information meeting in September regarding an intersection improvement project in Sumter County.

The meeting will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12, at Alice Drive Elementary School, 251 Alice Drive, Sumter. SCDOT representatives will be available to discuss the proposed project with members of the community. There will be no formal presentation.

The South Carolina Department of Transportation proposes this project that will improve the current intersections of U.S. 378 (Broad Street) at S-490 (Robert Dinkins Road) and U.S. 378 (Broad Street) at S.C. 120 (Alice Drive).
