REBECCA ELIZABETH 'BETH' MIMS

Rebecca Elizabeth “Beth” Mims, 63, died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024, at her home.
Born Jan. 29, 1961, in Sumter, she was the daughter of the late Odell Dorman Mims and the late Bessie Rebecca Bagnal Mims. Ms. Mims was a Licensed Practical Nurse for more than 30 years and a co-owner of Southern Uniform and Screen Printing until her retirement. She attended Southside Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Ashlie Johnson (Adam); two bonus children, Aaliyah Craig and Kameron Miller; one brother, John Mims; her “YaYa” sisters, Leigh Anne Graham, Wendy Smith and Angie Graham; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, 2024, at Southside Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Jimmy Holley.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, 2024, at Southside Baptist Church and other times at the home.
