LOUELLA FRIERSON BENTON

Louella Frierson Benton, 93, widow of Willie Benton and daughter of the late Willie Frierson and Laura Jane Robinson Frierson, was born on April 15, 1931, in Oswego. She departed this life on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024, at Prisma Health Baptist Hospital, Columbia.
Public viewing will be held on Friday, Sept. 13, 2024, from 2-6 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary Inc.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024, at Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church, 609 Manning Ave., Sumter, with Pastor Marion Newton officiating.
Interment will follow in Mayesville Community Cemetery, Mayesville.
Family will receive friends at the home 10 Hynes St., Sumter, starting Thursday, Sept. 12, 2024, from 5-7 p.m.
Job’s Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., is in charge of arrangements.
