Lee resident dies in early Tuesday rollover wreck

A Lee County resident died in an early Tuesday motor vehicle wreck in Kershaw County, according to a news release from Kershaw County Coroner David West.

Reese Autumn Player, 22, of Bishopville, was pronounced dead on scene after a call came in at 2:36 a.m. Tuesday reporting an iPhone crash detection on Bishopville Highway east of Camden near Favor Road, according to 911 records. First responders located the vehicle a short time later. The vehicle, a 2003 Chevrolet S-10 pickup, was traveling east on Bishopville  Highway when Player apparently lost control. The truck flipped several times, ejecting Player from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other vehicles involved, and the victim was alone when the accident occurred.

The wreck is under investigation by South Carolina Highway Patrol.
