Ineatha Graham was born on July 22, 1934, to the late Robert and Creola Chandler Gamble. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age and loved singing praises unto the Lord. She departed this life on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020, at her residence.

She was raised in the Shiloh community of Lynchburg and attended Johnson School in the Sumter County School System. More than 50 years ago, she met the love of her life, Elbert Graham, and later married and developed a kinship that was looked upon in the community as one of a kind.

She leaves to cherish her legacy: her husband, Elbert Graham; her children, Edward Lionel Gamble of Charlotte, North Carolina, Annette (Roland) Vaughn of Sumter, Cauldet (Mark) Rigby of Lynchburg and Valarie (Tory) Graham of Cayce; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Andrew Gamble of Sumter; a sister, Minnie Porter of Lynchburg; four brothers-in-law, Delbert Graham, Frezel Graham, Earl Graham and Michael Graham; and three sisters-in-law, Pearline Gamble, Shirley Rollins and Barbara Jean Nelson.

Mrs. Graham will be placed in the church at noon on Friday for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday at Mt. Sinai AME Church, 5895 Mt. Sinai Church Road, Lynchburg, SC 29080 with Pastor Marie D. Webb, eulogist, and the Rev. Davie Brown officiating.

Interment will follow in Edwards Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the home, 490 Puddin Swamp Road, Lynchburg, SC 29080.
