ANNA BESS PINCKNEY

Anna Bess Pinckney, 98, widow of George Pinckney and daughter of the late Isaiah Bess and Lelar William Bess, was born on May 10, 1926, in Calhoun County.  She departed this life on Friday, Aug. 9, 2024, at her residence.
Public viewing will be held on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2024, from 2-6 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary Inc.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, 2024, at Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church, 609 Manning Ave., Sumter.
Interment will follow in Hillside Memorial Park, Sumter.
Family will receive friends at 153 Cessna St., Sumter, starting Monday, Aug. 12, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. daily.
Job’s Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., Sumter, is in charge of arrangements.
