Harper Hill Alsbrooks, widow of Geoffrey A. Alsbrooks, died Monday, Aug. 12, 2024, at her home.
Born in Bishopville, she was a daughter of the late Francis Leverne Hill Sr. and the late Cynthia Rhem Hill. She was office manager of Hill Plumbing Company. She was a former volleyball and softball coach at Sumter Christian School.
Survivors include three daughters, Brittony Geddings (Jerry) of Sumter, Geran Winters (Michael) of Jonesville, and Brienne Morse (Bryan) of Sumter; 11 grandchildren; two grea-tgrandchildren; one brother, Francis “Frank” L. Hill Jr. (Debbie) of Sumter; three sisters, Iris Hill of Edisto Island, Alison H. Davis of Mt. Pleasant and Jennie H. Hawkins (Bill) of Easley; and several nieces and nephews.
A private burial will be in the Calvary Nazarene Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2024, at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.
