DWIGHT ANTHONY BROOKS

Dwight Anthony Brooks, 69, husband of Fiesta Witherspoon Brooks and son of the late Howard Brooks and Calanthia Olevia Gould McEachin, was born on Nov. 27, 1954, in Denton, Maryland. He departed this life on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at his residence.

Public viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at New Hope Ministries COOLJC, 92 Middle St., Sumter.

Interment will be held at noon Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia.

Family will receive friends at the home, 13 Cherokee St., Sumter, daily from 1 to 7 p.m.

Job’s Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., is in charge of arrangements.
