Sumter County gives away free sandbags at Dillon Park on Monday, Aug. 5, in preparation for Tropical Storm Debby. Anyone was allowed to fill their own sandbags on a first-come, first-served basis. From children and parents to married couples to friends, everyone worked together to fill the bags from the large sand pile and carry them to their respective vehicles.
