The South Carolina Basketball Coaches Association released its preseason honors and rankings this week and, unsurprisingly, East Clarendon star Talaysia Cooper earned more recognition as one of the state's top players.
Cooper was named one of the SCBCA Elite Girls, and the Lady Wolverines earned the third spot in the preseason 1A polls.
East Clarendon is no stranger to recognition during Cooper's time with the Lady Wolverines.
She won a state championship before she reached high school and recently signed to play at the University of South Carolina, the nation's top-ranked women's college program. Heading into her senior year, she has two goals in mind.
