- Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 7 p.m.: "Things to Come" Prophecy Conference with special guest, the Rev. Dr. Jim Palmer (study of the 22 chapters of Revelation)

- Friday, Oct. 11, a Food Pantry Giveaway will begin at 1 p.m. and go until supplies last.

Hearts United, which meets at Bethesda Church of God, 2730 Broad St., announces: "The Last Generation" with Nanda Rainwater Ministries.

- Saturday, Oct. 12, Hearts United will meet from 10 a.m. to noon. God is raising up an army of end-time witnesses that will prepare the way for Jesus' second coming - a people who will proclaim it not just with words but with manifestations of power. He is coming back, and He is calling you to be a part of "The Last Generation." Doors open at 9:40 a.m. Join us for fellowship and refreshments. - Saturday, Oct. 12, a Gospel Fest Celebration will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. featuring Southern Grace. Meal and drink will be provided. Donations accepted with proceeds going toward church projects.

- There will be a "Family Forum" for parents and guardians on Monday, Nov. 4, at 6 p.m. The event is sponsored by The One Sumter Community Group with the theme "Family Dynamics from Conception to the Grave."

- The church will celebrate its 150th anniversary on Saturday, Nov. 16, and Sunday, Nov. 17.
