CHARLES CEFUS RUFUS

Charles “Cee” Cefus Rufus, 78, son of the late Archie Rufus and Rebecca Fulwood Rufus, was born on July 14, 1946, in Clarendon County. He departed this life on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024, at his residence.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, Sept. 6, 2024, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary Inc.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024, at Asbury United Methodist Church, 355 Pudding Swamp Road, Lynchburg, with the Rev. Ernest Frierson, officiating.

Interment will follow in Goodman Cemetery, Lynchburg.

Family will receive friends at the home, 8220 Rufus Drive, Lynchburg, starting Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024, from 3 to 7 p.m.

Job’s Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., is in charge of arrangements.
