With a Great Year in the Rearview Mirror, Coppertail Brewing Co. Celebrates its Fourth Birthday
Coppertail Brewing Co. will celebrate its fourth birthday at its location on the edge of Ybor City with an event featuring over 40 taps of Coppertail beers and guest beers. This year’s celebration will be different from Coppertail’s past birthday celebrations. Instead of the day being a Florida Weisse festival, many more styles of beer will be on tap. Florida Weisse lovers, don’t fret, many sours will still be available. Music and food, too.
The past year was one of growth for Coppertail, and its position in the fast-growing craft beer market in Florida moved way up. The past year’s state-wide expansion plan was a success as Coppertail was distributed from the Keys to the panhandle due to the demand from craft beer lovers.
Kent Bailey, Coppertail’s president, said, “According to recent IRI syndicated data, we are the No. 1 selling craft brewery in Florida. Our sales are up 35% from this time last year. We are thankful to our fans and followers for continuing to support us and drink our beer.”
Coppertail was also recognized by the Tampa Bay Business Journal as one of the fastest growing companies in Tampa. Coppertail was in the 17th spot in its ‘2018 Fast 50’ recognition which ranked companies by revenue growth from 2015 to 2017. And, in 2018, Coppertail won three national medals and three Florida medals including two gold medals and one bronze medal at the Best Florida Beer Professional Championship.
A limited number of VIP tickets, only 100, are available for purchase online or at the taproom. VIP tickets provide partygoers with a commemorative glass, early entry to the event at noon, and access to a VIP area with food and complimentary beer for the duration of the event.
