Individual color photos of debutantes along with club information will publish in the Nov. 29 edition of The Sumter Item. The deadline for all photos and club information is noon Nov. 3.

Payment may also be made at The Sumter Item, 36 W. Liberty St. Payment must be made prior to publication. Please include the name of the club with payment.
Group photos of debutantes and escorts will be published with cutlines on space-available basis following each club's debutante ball. The cost for publication of a group photo is $125. Photos and information should be emailed to rhonda@theitem.com. Payment should be sent to above address.

The Carolinian Camellia Ball of Sumter will present five debutantes at its debutante ball on Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2023, at The Quixote Club.
Sarah Margaret Bilton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Woodrow Bilton, will be presented by her father and escorted by Thomas Blayne Aycock and William Frederick Summers.
Michele Darden Kelly, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Michael Kelly, will be presented by her father and escorted by Kurt Emerson Moore and Noah Daniel Poole.
Crawford Elizabeth Latham, daughter of Gen. and Mrs. Phillip Lane Latham, will be presented by her father and escorted by Robert Alfred Getty and Robert Lane Hinson. She is sponsored by Doctors Helen Demos and Phillip Lane Latham Jr.
Emily Spencer Reynolds, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Andrew James Reynolds, will be presented by her father and escorted by Trey Rhame Honeycutt II and Andrew James Reynolds Jr.
Kyndal Gail Waynick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Raymond Waynick III, will be presented by her father and escorted by Robert Thomas Pillsbury and Chandler Douglas Scott.
The Carolinian Camellia Ball will also present three honored sons: Kurt Emerson Moore Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Emerson Moore Sr.; Philip Andrew Newman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Leverne Newman Jr.; and Nathan Tykell Harris-Waynick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Raymond Waynick III.
Mr. Anthony Ray Scott is president of the club. Ball chairwoman is Mrs. Francis Leverne Newman Jr. Debutante chairwoman is Mrs. Roger McSwain Armfield.
