Voting begins Wednesday for Hines Furniture Athlete of the Year

After a year of celebrating the area's top athletes, the time has come for the annual Hines Furniture Athlete of the Year.

All 32 of the winners of the Hines Furniture Athlete of the Week from throughout the 2025-26 school year enter a bracket. Voting opens here on Wednesday morning just after midnight. Readers can vote in each matchup once daily.

The first round runs until June 12 at noon. Round 2 is June 13-15 before Round 3 June 16-18. At that point, the crowd will shrink to the final four candidates, and voting will function the same as the weekly award, as you'll have a chance to vote for the Hines Furniture Athlete of the Year once daily from June 22-30.
