Sumter's Purple Hearts donate to Shaw AFB personnel in need

Sumter's Purple Heart Chapter recently met with the Shaw Air Force Base Diamond Council and donated $2,000 in Walmart gift cards. The Diamond Council, which consists of first sergeants from throughout the base, will further distribute the cards to needy airmen and soldiers.
