Golden Pride Marching Band earns first place overall for Class 3A

On Saturday, Oct. 17, the Golden Pride Marching Band traveled to Fayetteville, North Carolina, to participate in the Gotham City Classic at E. E. Smith High School and competed against six other bands in Class 3A. The band received first place in Dance for Class 3A, first place in Flag for Class 3A, first place Drum Majors for Class 3A, first place in General Effect for Class 3A and first place in Music for Class 3A. The accolades earned the band first place overall for Class 3A.
