Geraldine Singleton seeks donations for annual Thanksgiving dinner giveway Nov. 18

As the season of gratitude approaches, Geraldine Singleton's heartwarming holiday tradition continues - with some help from the community.

On Saturday, Nov. 18, Singleton will host her annual Thanksgiving dinner giveaway.

In preparation for the occasion, Singleton encourages community members to contribute to this meaningful act of giving. Monetary donations are her preferred choice, as it will allow her to purchase specific ingredients needed for each dish. However, donated ingredients are also welcome.

This year's menu will feature rice, gravy, turkey, stuffing and vegetables. Anyone willing to contribute in person is welcome to bring a dish on the day of the giveaway.

To make a donation, volunteer or reserve a plate, contact Singleton at (803) 775-2047 or (757) 234-1432.
