WILLIAM L. RIGDON

William Lawrence Rigdon, 59, died Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, in Providence Hospital in Columbia.

Born April 2, 1951, in Manning, he was a son of the late Raymond Harrison Rigdon Jr. and the late Dorothy Lee Thigpen Rigdon Summers. He was a retired factory worker with the Sunbeam Corporation.

He is survived by four brothers, LeRoy Rigdon (Sandy) of Sumter, James Rigdon (Sharon), Harry Rigdon and Larry Thigpen (Ann), all of Manning; a sister, Peggy Barrett (James) of Manning; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were held at the home of his brother, 3457 Silver Road, Manning, with the Rev. John O'Cain officiating.
