WILLIAM B. HINES

SUMMERTON - William B. Hines, 68, husband of Evelyn Robinson Hines, passed away at Clarendon Memorial Hospital in Manning on Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010.

Born Nov. 11, 1941, he was the son of the late Thomas and Ellen Satchell Hines. He was a retired electrical engineer for Long Island Railroad and was of the Methodist faith.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of Summerton, are two sons, William B. Hines Jr. and his wife, Michelle, of Staten Island, N.Y., and Richard Hines of Charlotte; a daughter, Trisha Jordan of Baltimore; two sisters, Mary Ellen Merrill of Atlanta, and Patricia Hines of Albequerque, N.M.; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service was held Monday, Oct. 25, 2010, at the funeral home.
