VIRGINIA F. IRELAND

Virginia Florence Ireland, 87, formerly of Yardville, N.J., died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010, at Summerville Medical Center in Dorchester County.

Born Jan. 18, 1923, in Trenton, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Wojciech Strava and Jennie Cichaleski Smith. She was a retired factory worker and was of the Presbyterian faith.

Surviving are a daughter, Gail Colclough and her husband, Albert, of Manning, with whom she resided; a son, Lawrence Ireland and his wife, Patricia, of Hamilton, N.J.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services were held Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, at the funeral home in Manning.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
