THOMAS E. RICHBOURG

SUMMERTON - Thomas Ellis Richbourg, 78, died Friday, Oct, 8, 2010, at his son's home in Powder Springs, Ga.

Born July 18, 1932, in Summerton, he was a son of the late Ellis Robert and Essie Jeffords Richbourg, and was married to the late Barbara Christie Richbourg. He was a retired division manager of seven states for Electrolux; a U.S. Navy veteran, where he was a member of the Navy baseball team; and a member of Andrews Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons, William Guy Richbourg of South Carolina, Samuel J. (Teresa) Richbourg and Thomas Ellis Richbourg Jr. of Powder Springs; a sister, Essie Mae Fetherolf of Punta Gorda, Fla.; and eight grandchildren.

He was predeceased by two daughters, Kimberly Richbourg Stalvey and Terry Anne Richbourg Isenhoward.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010, at the funeral home with the Rev. Mickey Bell officiating. Burial followed in Andrews Chapel United Methodist Church cemetery.
