SARA YOUNT NICHOLS

Sara Yount Nichols, 85, widow of Earl Bruce Nichols, died Monday, Sept. 23, 2024.

Born in Hollywood, Florida, she was a daughter of the late Noah David Yount and Rena Bertie Simmons Yount.
Mrs. Nichols was a retired elementary school teacher.

Surviving are two sons, the Rev. Daniel Bruce Nichols (Shannon) of Blythewood and David R. Nichols of Knightdale, North Carolina; one brother, John David Yount (Geiger) of Duluth, Minnesota; and four grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Angela Nichols.

Memorial services will be held at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, 2024, at Crossings Community Church in Columbia. (To watch live stream of service, go to www.crossingscommunity.org.)

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024, in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens in Wake Forest, North Carolina.

The family will receive friends immediately following each service.
