ROOSEVELT RICKY GARRIS

WINSTON-SALEM, North Carolina - Roosevelt Ricky Garris, 63, died on Saturday, May 27, 2023, in Winston-Salem.

He was born on Oct. 28, 1959, in Baltimore, Maryland, a son of Marie Pearson Garris and the late Roosevelt Garris.

Public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Hayes F. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday at Hayes F. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning, with the Rev. Johnny Lawson officiating and Minister Eloise Cnyers-Jackson assisting. Burial will follow in the Gum Spring Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
