ROCHELLE CHAMBERS

Rochelle Harris Thames Chambers, 49, died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010, at Clarendon Memorial Hospital, Manning.

Born April 8, 1961, in Chicago, she was a daughter of the late Rosie Harris Thames. She was a graduate of North Miami Beach Senior High School. After moving to Manning, she re-dedicated her life to Christ and joined Triangle Hope Ministry.

Survivors include two daughters, Cassandra Thames of Miami and Callie Thames of Buffalo, N.Y.; two sons, Carl Thames and Joel Thames, both of Miami; one sister, Lamelia Thames of Miami; two brothers, Sylvester Thames of Miami and Oscar Thames of Tenn.; and 15 grandchildren.

Wake services were held Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010, at the funeral home; funeral services were held Saturdfay, Dec. 18, 2010, at Royal Funeral Home, 17475 N.W. 27th Ave., Miami Gardens, Fla.

The family received friends at the home, 2797 Arlene Road, Manning.
