ROBERT LEE SIMON

Robert Lee Simon, 83, husband of Elizabeth Jefferson Simon and son of the late Allison Williams and Mary Simon Cooper, was born on July 23, 1940, in Sumter County. He departed this life on Friday, April 26, 2024, at his residence.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary.

Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, with Pastor Patrick Harvin, officiating.

Interment will follow in Ruby M. B. Simon Family Cemetery, Gable.

Family will receive friends at the home of his son, 140 Hidden Bay Drive, Sumter, daily from 6 to 8 p.m.
