Posted

Love in Action Outreach Ministries extends our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to the following local businesses, organizations and individuals who graciously supported our recent "Don't Carry the Weight" event through their in-kind donations and support: Sumter County Main Library on Harvin Street, Shoney's of South Pike West Sumter, Chick-fil-A on Broad Street Sumter, Food Lion - Guignard/Broad Street Extension, BJ's Wholesale Club - Sumter, Sam's Club - Florence, Fumi - Broad Street Sumter, Second Mill Restaurant - Broad Street Sumter, Outback Steakhouse - Sumter, Dr. Darnelle Wilson - Speaker, Joan Hicks - Singer, Hazel Clark - Singer, Cliff Kershaw - Photographer, Derick Rhem - Videographer, David Pigg - Carolina Fresh Foods Florence, Vincent Graves - Freelance Graphic Designer and Tidal Wave of Sumter (Unsung Champion prize).

Because of your compassionate giving, we were able to honor Unsung Champions in our community and provide a free, memorable and life-changing "Don't Carry the Weight" event.

Guests received a complimentary lunch, free Bibles, take-home gifts, and, most importantly, encouragement, renewed faith, hope and strength for a lighter and brighter day. Thank you all for helping make this possible! A special thank-you to all of our volunteers, family and friends who gave their time, talents and support to help make this event a success.

To God be all the glory!

With humble thanks,
