MHC offers Pfizer COVID-19 booster shots on Nov. 5 at Clarendon Community Center

MANNING - McLeod Health Clarendon will be offering Pfizer COVID-19 booster shots from 8 a.m. until noon on Nov. 5 at the Clarendon Community Center behind Weldon Auditorium.

These booster shots are for Pfizer vaccine recipients who completed their initial series, first and second doses of Pfizer vaccine, at least six months ago. McLeod Health will be offering community Pfizer COVID-19 booster shots based on criteria set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Recipients must be:

- 65 years old or older;

- 18 years and older who live in long-term settings;

- 18 years and older who have underlying medical conditions;

- 18 years and older who work in high-risk settings, such as health care and schools; or

- 18 years and older who live in high-risk settings, such as correctional facilities and homeless shelters.

This is a walk-in-only event. Individuals will need to bring their vaccination card, driver's license and insurance card to receive their Pfizer booster shot.
