Mary E. Smith, 82, wife of the late Harrison Smith Sr., died Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at National Healthcare Facility in Sumter. Born in Claremont, Sumter County, she was the daughter of the late David Nixon and Cleo Lloyd Nixon.
The family will receive friends at the home, 830 Mayfield Drive, Sumter, from 4 to 8 p.m. daily, until the day of service.
Funeral arrangements are in progress and will be further announced by Palmer Memorial Chapel Inc.
